Cyclr & Valianys

Valiantys is an international IT consulting company and the largest global consulting partner for Atlassian software.

They specialize in helping large enterprises modernize their operations, scale agile frameworks, migrate to the cloud, and implement automated AI and DevOps workflows using tools like Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.

Valiantys replaced its legacy integration platform with Cyclr, migrating more than 140 production integrations while continuing to deliver new projects throughout the migration.

Today, the company runs 150+ integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira, HiBob and other critical business systems from a single Cyclr account, giving the integration team greater performance, flexibility and scalability for future growth.

The Challenge

When Viktor Lukyanenko joined Valiantys as Integration Engineering Manager, the company’s integration strategy was already underway.

The goal was initially internal: create a reliable integration layer connecting the company’s most important operational systems including Salesforce, NetSuite and Jira.

The team built these integrations using Celigo.

As the platform matured, however, several challenges became increasingly difficult to ignore.

As more and more integrations were added Celigo became less performant. Transaction visibility was limited, making successful executions difficult to analyze, and commercial licensing became a major obstacle as the business started exploring customer-facing integrations.

“We realised that if we wanted to build integrations for external customers, we would need a full licence for every customer. Financially, that simply didn’t make sense.” Said Viktor.

At the time, Valiantys already had approximately 100 production integrations running, making any platform migration a significant business decision.

Choosing Cyclr

The team evaluated several alternatives, including Workato.

While Workato provided enterprise functionality, its account-based licensing created similar commercial challenges for Valiantys’ future plans.

Cyclr offered a different model.

More importantly, it aligned with how the engineering team wanted to work.

Rather than treating integrations as isolated customer environments, Cyclr enabled Valiantys to operate a scalable integration platform capable of supporting both internal systems and future customer integrations.

“The migration represented a major investment of both time and money, so we needed to make the right decision.”

Migrating over 140 production integrations

Throughout 2025, a three-person engineering team undertook one of its largest infrastructure projects.

While maintaining existing production workflows, they simultaneously migrated every integration from Celigo to Cyclr and continued to work on new development projects.

The migration included integrations across:

  • Salesforce
  • NetSuite
  • Jira
  • HiBob
  • Rydoo
  • Finance systems

By early 2026, the migration was complete. Celigo had been fully retired. Today, all production integrations operate from within a single Cyclr account.

Results

150+ production integrations managed in one platform

Valiantys now manages approximately 150 live production integrations through Cyclr without experiencing the scalability issues they had previously encountered.

“We currently run around 150 integrations in one account and we don’t have any significant slowness or performance issues.” Said Viktor.

Faster integration performance

One of the biggest improvements has been the speed of integration execution.

Where workflows previously took minutes to complete as the environment expanded, Cyclr continues to perform consistently even at enterprise scale.

“The overall performance is quite high and flows move from point A to point B much faster.”

Improved troubleshooting

The engineering team highlighted Cyclr’s transaction search capabilities as a significant operational improvement.

Rather than manually navigating individual integrations, engineers can search historical transactions directly using identifiers such as Opportunity IDs.

“We simply enter an Opportunity ID and immediately find every related transaction. That has made troubleshooting much easier.”

Flexible connector development

Initially, the team expected every connector in Cyclr’s extensive library to expose every available API endpoint in a third-party application.

Instead, they quickly adopted Cyclr’s philosophy of extending connectors only where required to speed up development.

The result has been a more flexible development process combining:

  • Connector extensions from Cyclr’s expert engineering team
  • Custom connectors built by the Valiantys team
  • NetSuite RESTlet integrations
  • Internal error handling workflows
  • Bespoke automation for specialized business processes

“The Cyclr connector team added the connector extensions we needed quickly and, where we needed custom functionality, we found it easy to build those connectors ourselves.”

A collaborative product partnership

One of the themes throughout the engagement has been collaboration between the Valiantys engineering team and Cyclr’s product teams.

Feature requests have resulted in platform improvements including hierarchical folder structures that significantly simplify the management of large integration estates.

“We wanted a partnership rather than a supplier relationship. We share ideas for features and Cyclr listens.”

The new folder hierarchy now enables the team to organize more than 150 integrations into logical business groupings, dramatically improving navigation and onboarding.

Looking Ahead

Valiantys is now exploring additional opportunities with Cyclr, including:
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Customer-facing integrations
  • Expanded automation initiatives
  • Customer integration services

The company continues to view Cyclr as its strategic integration platform underpinning future growth.

“Overall, we’re very happy with the migration from Celigo to Cyclr. We currently run around 150 integrations in one account with excellent performance, great support and a platform that continues to evolve alongside our needs.”
