We are often discussing how Cyclr, an embedded integration platform can help you, a SaaS. How the platform can enhance and expand SaaS native integration capabilities without the development headache. I wanted to highlight how we Cyclr, use Cyclr. I realised that it’s not only important to continually develop your product but to also consume it.
Using the platform helps us to further understand its capabilities, the UI/UX and in truth the wrinkles that need ironing out. We can push the platform to the limits and discover what we could change to further improve it for our customers. This direct experience as well as customer interviews and product management can help develop our product roadmap even further.
So who at Cyclr is using Cyclr? and what internal integration use cases have they built?
API Connector Development with Cyclr
Our Connector Team are SUPER users of our Connector Creation Toolkit. They use the tool to build and maintain our library of over 600 Connectors. This tool is available to Cyclr subscribers and gives them the capacity to build Connectors they need if they don’t already exist in Cyclr’s current library.
Marketing Integrations with Cyclr
Cyclr’s Marketing Team utilise Cyclr’s capabilities and tonnes of Marketing Connectors for a range of internal integration use cases. These integrations include attribution tagging, review management, demo/sales bookings and newsletter subscriber management.
Customer Success Integrations with Cyclr
Our Customer Success Management (CSM) Team use Cyclr to keep an eye on customer engagement, this helps us understand how/if they are using the platform. They also use the platform to track a new customers’ onboarding process.
Support Integrations with Cyclr
Cyclr’s Support Team are also users of Cyclr, they mainly use the platform to handle tickets and sync our cross-system detail maintenance. They have also created an integration with Cyclr’s Community Site to ensure any new Forum posts trigger a notification for answering. Our Community Site is available to all Cyclr subscribers and includes product tutorials, posts and news.
Marrying Internal and External Use Cases
Interestingly all these use cases are ‘internal facing’ for Cyclr which is a nice side benefit to running an embedded iPaaS. However, we need to work on use cases for ‘external facing’ so we can fully live the daily experience of the embedding and multi-tenanted proposition. An identified project is already in the pipeline.
