Product Spotlight
Keeping on-prem applications connected with SSH Connectors
In January we launched our SSH (Secure Shell) Connector, and our CTO Nic Butler explained how they work to connect with o-prem data. Essentially, the SSH connector is a ‘pipe’ used from the site to the on-prem application to retrieve and process the data through Cyclr.
For example, to connect to a remote desktop in the cloud or a remote desktop on someone else’s machine. Similar technology allows one user to control the machine as if they were sitting there. If say a colleague is having an issue with their security software there’s an application on Windows that allows them to hook into the machine, wherever they are, over a secure network that allows the user to tinker with the machine as if they were sat there. This is the idea of SSH in a nutshell.

Cyclr’s most significant enhancements
In 2024, we introduced several impactful updates, including GitHub Integration feature, which allows users to export Template Releases to their own GitHub repository to backup integration templates and transfer them between Cyclr Consoles.
As well as a new collection of Connectivity Tools that include features for linking workflows together and creating customised, individual HTTP calls and event triggers. We also added a new logic tool to the Cyclr toolset: Switch Step, that allows users to split the data in your workflows according to different conditions.
