As the year draws to a close, we wanted to reflect on the past year and take a look at the strides we’ve made with the platform, delving into Cyclr product highlights in 2024.
We’ve made a ton of improvements in the platform throughout the year. From introducing powerful new features to refining existing tools, our focus has been to make your integration journey as smooth as possible.
Here’s a look back at the key updates and improvements that we’ve rolled out this year.
New Features and Tools
We have improved the Cyclr platform by leaps and bounds during 2024, making the Cyclr toolset even more robust than before. Allowing for even faster and more intuitive integration building.
This year saw the introduction of many game-changing features designed to streamline workflows and enhance flexibility. Here are some of the standout updates from 2024 that have redefined how you interact with Cyclr.
GitHub Integration
With the GitHub Integration feature, you can now export Template Releases to your own GitHub repository as a way to not only backup your templates, but also to transfer them between Cyclr Consoles.
To help you get acquainted with this new feature, we added a new video lesson as well as a feature article on the Community Site, with step-by-step instructions on how to get started with integrating your GitHub repository with Cyclr.
Connectivity Tools
We introduced a set of Connectivity Tools in the Builder, including features for linking Cycles together and creating customized, individual HTTP calls and event triggers. Launched in Beta back in January and followed by a full release in September, these tools are all readily available in the Cyclr Builder under Utility Connectors.
The new tools are:
- Quick Connector
Add custom, individual HTTP requests to your workflows - Event Triggers
Create individual webhook steps - Linking
Link two Cycles or Templates together and split large workflows into smaller, manageable chunks
To help get you started with these Cyclr product highlights, we have a full Tutorial course available on the Cyclr Community site showing you how to use each of the new connectivity tools.
Switch Step
Along with the Connectivity Tools, we also added a new logic tool to the Cyclr toolset: Switch Step.
Similar to a Decision step, the Switch step allows you to split the data in your workflows according to different conditions. However, where the decision step only offers two (True/False) outputs, the Switch step makes it possible to split the data down to multiple, separate paths through an integration. Providing you more flexibility in workflows where a simple Yes/No option is not quite enough.
To help you get started with the Switch Step, we have introduced a video tutorial as well as a full article introducing its features on the Community Site.
Task Usage Notifications
In June 2024, we launched a customizable notifications feature. These notifications send email alerts to specified email addresses when your Task Usage nears your Monthly Allowance if you have one.
The notifications can be customized to trigger at different thresholds to help you stay on top of your usage. You can even set multiple notification thresholds and several recipients.
Find the notification settings under Settings and Notifications in your Partner Console.
Template Search Box
A Search Box was introduced to the Template Library in Consoles, as well as for the Cycles area in Accounts. This feature allows you to search for specific integration templates or cycles by name. Making it easier and faster than ever to find specific integrations without having to navigate through folders or sift through several pages of templates or cycles. Well worth a mention among Cyclr product highlights from 2024.
New Application Connectors
We have been adding new application connectors to our expanding Application Connector Library throughout the year. Here is a list of just some of the highlights that have been added to our growing selection of ready-made API connectors in 2024.
We have also built a large number of private connectors for our partners. If you would like our team of experts to build a connector for you, please get in touch!
Cyclr API Advancements
The Cyclr API has seen a lot of improvements in the past year, as we’ve added several new endpoints as well as improved the functionality of our existing ones.
New endpoints include:
- POST /v1.0/account/connectors/{id}/methods/{methodId}/body
- This new endpoint allows you to make requests without having to use Parameter & Field IDs, you can use the Cyclr ‘Target Name’ instead.
- PUT /v1.0/steps/{id}/fieldmappings
- This endpoint allows for multiple Field Mappings to be set on a Step in a single call, saving time and reducing the number of calls needed.
- GET /v1.0/cycles/{id}/export
- POST /v1.0/cycles/import
- These two new endpoints allow you to export and import templates as Cycles directly into Accounts programmatically.
We have also made loads of other nips and tucks to our endpoints, offering improvements in functionality, performance, and usability. These updates make it easier to manage integrations programmatically and handle data efficiently.
- Enhanced Error and Response Handling
- JSON-formatted error responses ensure better parsing when remote systems return errors.
- Switch Step Case details can be retrieved and set using API’s “Edge” endpoints.
- Improved API Endpoints
- The GET v1.0/accounts/{id}/usage endpoint now includes an Incidents property for better visibility.
- Faster responses from endpoints like GET /v1.0/methods/{id} improve performance.
- Field Mapping Simplified
- GET /v1.0/steps/{id}/fieldmappings endpoint now includes a “Location” property for each data field to indicate where data is located in a Request or Response, saving time and reducing complexity.
Cyclr Partnership Program
2024 also saw the launch of Cyclr’s Partnership Program!
Introducing a new way to provide both premium support and new collaboration opportunities for our partners, we accredited a small number of companies as official Cyclr Partners. With the Partnership Program, whether you’re looking for tips in building Templates, help with configuring Marketplaces, or researching integrations, we can connect you with a partner to help out.
Every accredited Cyclr Partner is fully equipped to assist with any of your integration needs, as they have been through our internal training program, have full access to our internal documentation as well as specialised support from our Solutions Architects.
Cyclr’s accredited partners will work with your team so you can ensure you’re delivering your users automation value without having to compromise on your existing roadmap.
If you’re interested to get connected with an accredited partner to start making the most out of your integrations, fill out the form to let us know what kind of support you are looking for. We can then put you in touch with a partner that best suits your needs.

Website Makeover
One of the Cyclr product highlights we’re particularly proud of is the complete redesign of our website. As part of our commitment to delivering an exceptional user experience, we gave a fresh new look for both Cyclr.com and the Community Site this year. The updated websites feature:
- Modern, User-Centric Design: Navigation has been completely revamped to make it easier than ever to find what you need, whether you’re exploring Cyclr’s features, browsing the blog, or learning from our resources.
- Streamlined Information Flow: Key content areas, such as Product features, the Application Connector Library, Case Studies and other resources, are now organized to help you quickly access valuable insights and tools.
This redesign reflects our mission to make Cyclr accessible, intuitive, and supportive for all our users. If you haven’t had a chance yet, explore the new site and see the difference for yourself.
