If you’re looking for a platform to promote your SaaS platform, attract prospects, make new contacts and network with those in your industry, then finding a suitable SaaS conference is well worth investigating. Some have an industry-wide focus while others focus on a specific area or niche.

It’s been a strange year for events, for obvious reasons. Some events have gone online or virtual, while others are due to go ahead later this year or have been postponed completely til next year. Please do check the event’s website for the latest updates.

Conferences for growth

Dublin Tech Summit, 14 October

If you’re looking to accelerate growth across the globe, then check out Dublin Tech Summit Virtual, which will host the most influential tech and business leaders from across the world, with 5,000 delegates, 50 speakers and 200 global media representatives.

Predictable Revenue is an outbound sales company. Its Own Your Growth virtual summit for 2020 has now passed but you can catch up on the 2020 sessions here. Keep an eye out for the next event in May 2021, and in the meantime, there are plenty of webinars to hone your sales skills.

SaaS events

SaaStr, 2-3 September

SaaStr is the world’s largest community for business software. It hosts a number of events, including SaaStr Annual, one of the largest and most popular events in the in the SaaS industry (taking place online this September), and SaaStr Europa for the European-focused version (usually takes place in June, dates TBA).

SaaStr Annual at Home will be all digital, with more than 50,000 global attendees joining the re-scheduled SaaStr Annual 2020. Expect two full days, hundreds of workshops, and thousands of mentoring sessions. This year you can get a free Keynote Pass to SaaStr Annual at Home. SaaStr Annual will take place in February 2021 in San Francisco.

SaaStock, October 2020

SaaStock is one of the most well-known SaaS conferences. It is held in Dublin, Ireland, every year. It offers “…actionable tactics, strategies, and frameworks to gain traction, grow and scale your SaaS company.”

The agenda brings industry visionaries together to share their stories and strategies in a series of practical content sessions. SaaStock EMEA will take place, this year as an online only event, in October 2020.

They also hosts a number of local events. SaaStock Local is a platform for B2B SaaS-focused events to be organised within local ecosystems across the globe. These learning hubs are focused around a particular city, in Europe, North America, Asia, LATAM, Australasia and the Middle East.

Adobe Summit, March 2021

Find out how to deliver and manage remarkable customer experiences at Adobe Summit, which will cover marketing automation, analytics, advertising, and commerce.

In SaaS, creating great customer experiences is essential and this what you’ll learn how to do at this well-respected event. You’ll also have the opportunity to network with others in your industry. It takes place in Las Vegas.

BoS Conference Europe, March 2021

A two-day event for software leaders, entrepreneurs and decision makers, BoS Conference Europe targets those in the ‘scale up’ stage of their business – companies ready to take the leap into growth.

Despite being a software conference, the focus of the topics is neither code nor finance: there are talks from industry leaders on anything from marketing to leadership, hiring to mental health and everything in between. T

he result? You’ll leave with an idea of how to grow your business to the next level, and the contacts to make it happen. BoS 2020 took place online in March 2020 and should return to Cambridge in 2021.

Tech events

TechCrunch Disrupt, 14-18 September

Taking place online in September this year, TechCrunch Disrupt is five days of non-stop online programming which focuses on “founders and investors shaping the future of disruptive technology and ideas and startup experts providing insights to entrepreneurs.”

Hundreds of startups across a variety of categories tell their stories to 10,000 attendees. If you’re there, come look us up!

WebSummit, 2-4 December

This December, WebSummit will be online instead of in Lisbon, Portugal. Described as “The world’s largest technology conference” by the likes of Inc.com and Forbes (we were there last year – it’s massive!), Web Summit brings together the people and companies redefining the global tech industry to learn where the futures of SaaS, startups, and general technologies lie.

It offers “…incredible speakers, unparalleled networking opportunities, and proprietary software that will maximise your experience.” There are 24 unique tracks including ones for content marketing, crypto, growth strategies, and even music and sports.

SXSW, March 2021

South by Southwest (SXSW) is one of the most well-known events in the world, regardless of topic or industry. With topics organised into three tracks – interactive, film and music – the interactive Tech Industry & Enterprise Track looks at today’s most cutting-edge ideas in software and hardware.

Innovators and executives from a variety of industries get together to discuss the evolving landscape of technology-driven products and services in the B2B and B2C marketplaces. 2020’s event was cancelled – follow their social media channels and website for details of 2021’s event.

Product Management Events

Mind the Product, 1-2 October

Mind the Product is the world’s largest product management conference with annual flagship conferences in San Francisco (2021), Singapore (March 2021), and London (October 2020) attracting thousands of attendees each from all over the world, and regional conferences in Hamburg (June 2021) and Manchester (February 2021).

It also offers digital conferences too, but each is different so you can attend one or all of them. The conferences bring together product leaders from around the world. Exploring the intersection of design, technology, and business, and are designed to inspire you to build better products.

Digital Leute Summit, 9-10 November

Still scheduled to take place in Cologne in November, Digital Leute Summit is for anyone who wants to “build better digital products” and describes itself as Germany’s leading conference at the intersection of Tech, UX & Product.

It is the only networking and professional education event for software engineers, designers, product and digital managers that focuses on the cross-functional aspects of digital product development.

Learn from top-notch international speakers how to successfully build better digital products and get deep insights into the tools, tactics, and methods of professionals developing digital products in large scale environments.

ProductCon London, 9 February 2021

ProductCon Online is the largest online product management conference in the world, taking place in London in February 2021. Organized by Product School, ProductCon also takes in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and Seattle. The speaker line-up features product leaders from Google, Slack, Amazon, Airbnb, Netflix, Facebook and more.

Learn best practices behind the most successful products and new trends in AI, VR, IoT and blockchain, and interact with sponsor companies interested in recruiting PMs. You can also improve your product management skills and interact with the Product School community. The UX Conference London, March 2021

Organised by The School of UX, The UX Conference is about collaboration between designers. There are no details available about 2021’s theme, but this year’s theme was the collaboration between UX, UI and content designers. It provided an opportunity to meet speakers with experience working in Transport for London, OpenTable, The Paciello Group, Nike, Government Digital Service, Airbnb, Shopify, InVision, DuckDuckGo and others.

DesignOps Global Conference, May 2021
